Very cool local bar on Coleman. Great device outdoor seating with two full bars. Outdoor pool table and parking around back. Couches inside great for groups with your own TV to watch the game. We will be back for sure.

Not just for the young. Be brave. It's a great place to grab a drink and get a snack or sandwich. Had the turkey cranberry pecan cream cheese wrap. Yum! Group of 5 were all pleased with meals. Great outdoor area when the weather is warm. Bands after 10 but it was our bedtime

I had the best time at the Black Sheep when I went out on Friday. The DJs were so awesome and played some really great beats! The customer service from the bartenders was the best I have seen in a while - they were so accommodating and quick to get your drinks. Also the outdoor area had heaters and was a nice setup. This was the most fun that I have had at a bar in a while. Friday nights are probably the best nights to go if you want to get your dance moves on! Definitely check it out if you want to have a good time.

Came to enjoy a few drinks and comedy show on a Wednesday as advertised. We were kicked out of the dining area at 9pm ( there was only four other people in the bar/restaurant) for the comedy show because you have to pay the $10 for the show. When we inquired about friends having attended the comedy show for free they said that was a mistake a few weeks back and now they are charging. Rather than shut your doors to patrons perhaps there is a better solution for the comedy club/restaurant. I wish we had known about the charge for the unpacked show prior to sitting down at the restaurant.

Bells 2-hearted on tap? Check. Loungey Outdoor seating? Check. Good bar food? Check check check. Black Sheep is good. Not fantastic but a solid good. I oftentimes wish for the ability to give half stars on Yelp and this is one of those times. I really want to give this place 3 and a half stars. I've been 3 times since I moved to Mt P and I've legitimately liked it every time. I've never had issues with service-- I've actually really loved all the servers and the bartenders are super sweet as well! The food isn't the best, but it's certainly not bad and they have some pretty killer happy hour specials. Especially in the milder spring and fall months, this is a perfect place to go for a good, craft beer and some traditional bar noshes. Have only hung outside, so can't really speak towards the interior dining and drinking experience, but it does look like they do some good live music there too.

My group of friends passed on the wait and meh Saturday Brunch at the Shelter and decided to give the Sheep a try. We were the only people there which is sad because it is AWESOME. We sat on the patio, shared carafes of perfectly poured mimosas ($8.50) and enjoyed some great brunch fare. The brunch hash was absolutely delicious with crispy potatoes and pulled mystery meat (pork vs beef) smothered with queso and pico. My friends enjoyed the burrito, grits bowl, french toast and chicken n donut. Not one gripe amongst us. Miss Saturday and Sunday brunch? A rumored Monday brunch at Black Sheep will save the week.

Stopped in because the sign said, All NFL games. But I was disappointed because they were just playing two games. Plus, it took over 10 minutes to even get a beer, or be acknowledged with a total of 4 people at the bar. I left and will never be back.

have only been in for drinks, but I like this place so far. Parking is tight and towing is prevalent around here so be careful. Buddy of mine had his car towed a couple weeks ago from GDC after being there for 40mins. We noticed the signage about towing and moved the car ASAP. I spent most of my time at the outside bar having a few beers with friends. Plenty of seating outdoors and they have an outdoor pool table. They had a live band playing inside, but I was tired from moving all day so I was happy to relax in a barstool listening from the outside bar. Although I just passed through a couple times to use the restroom, the inside looked like a great place to hang out with cool lounge areas and TV's at them. After moving nearby, I see this becoming part of my regular routine.

Went to have lunch and sit outside for a drink. We waited an hour and a half for lunch that we never got. Sent back grill cheese and the hot dog was not worth eating. First and last visit for me.

Went there for our monthly WOW get together. It was just the four of us. When I got there not many people for 6:00 happy hour. The waitress was a friend of who I was with so she was spot on with our order. We ordered misted hamburgers. I ordered the house burger and sweet potato fries. It was really good next time I won't order it well done. But I ate it all. Great place to watch sports. And comfy couches to have a relaxing conservation among your friends.

I gave 5 stars because we got exactly what we expected and wanted. It doesn't matter how fancy the place is because every place has a different atmosphere. This place was relaxed and pleasant and the brunch was excellent. Service was great and has courteous and friendly staff. This place excelled in each of those areas. I would recommend this place for at least a nice, relaxed brunch on Sunday. The hash plate and quesadilla plates (what we had) were excellent and fresh right off the griddle. The coffee is good and the mimosa is cheap and very refreshing. We wish we could see the crowd on a weekend night, or even during the week.

Ok, I try never to give bad reviews unless they are absolutely necessary to help fellow patrons avoid horrible establishments. However, this review is fully warranted. In a nutshell, the wait was too long at a nearby restaurant, so while on my lunch break from work, a friend and I popped in here to have a quick bite. It was a catastrophic nightmare from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we wandered into the empty bar and were greeted by two bartenders: one who was clearly drunk and bragging that he had already put in his two weeks notice and another who looked as if she hadn't showered in a few millennia. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese and I have to say that I have never been more disappointed in my life (and can hopefully share a photo of this abysmal dish with the world). I would compare it to Kraft mac and cheese, however it wasn't even as good as that. No flavor, old microwaved noodles, and fatty meat. To add insult to injury, the aforementioned intoxicated bartender (let me remind you that it's like 12:30 in the afternoon) forgot to give us silverware, gave my drink to another patron and then minutes later took it back and gave it to me once he realized his mistake, and was just belligerent. Oh and the food took FOREVER. I pray that their nighttime and weekend bar atmosphere is better than this, otherwise this place is going to meet the same demise as its predecessors. Ugh: just terrible.

This place is killer, and when I was in Charleston I always went. The service ain't bad, but they are super busy usually, so it's to be expected. The food though...muy ricisimo!

Solid showing. Hung out there for a few drinks on a rainy Tuesday night. Good banter with the bar staff, had the cuban eggrolls - I literally was just told my bad cholesterol was...bad. These guys didn't help.

I called in my order because I knew it was going to rain this afternoon and you know Brown Sugar melts ( meaning me) in the rain. I called in an order for a Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap with a side of Fries, quick and simple. I waited about 5 minutes and I decided to "cross Coleman Blvd" to pick up my lunch. After 10 minutes and what seemed to be a "why did the chicken cross the road" riddle, I was able to "Make a run for it" and made it safely across the street. The outside was nicely decorated like a family back yard- a welcoming and come hither kind of place. I opened the door to a dimly lit restaurant that was clean and spacious- Kid Friendly ( there was a family dining in). It appears that a lot of entertaining goes on in here. Then I noticed "National Burger Month Ticket Giveaway"- I am a Burger Addict are you friggin' kidding me??? Anywho, back to the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap ( Focus Laura, Focus). I sat down on the patio, I looked at my chicken wrap and it was so overstuffed and juicy. I bit into it and I tasted Creamy Caesar cheese sauce, crispy/crunchy romaine and iceberg lettuce, and tomatoes. My eyes rolled to the back of my head, clearly a moment of Euphoria. The Grilled chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wrap was soft and warm ( including around the edges), the Caesar salad was easy to eat and delicious all rolled up and tucked in nice and neat (Making walking and eating a snap). I am definitely returning for burgers and the night life.

Came here for the first time this past weekend for a friends birthday. We all had an absolutely fantastic time here. We were able to get the huge table and booth right in front of the live band, who were a lot of fun and very good!. This inside is plenty big and we all had room to stretch our legs. The servers were friendly and reasonably quick considering how busy it was. The inside bar is quite large which is nice. This place also has a very cool outside bar with a pool table next to it. It was chilly the night I was there but they had plenty of heaters out side to keep us cozy. I can't wait to come back on a warmer evening to hang outside and play some pool. I didn't eat hear but the plates I saw coming out looked pretty decent. I'll definitely be back.

Didn't have dinner, but hung out for drinks. Super chill. If you like craft beer, the staff is really knowledgeable. Couches, TV... Just a cool spot.

My kids and I had the BEST pub food after a long day on the beach. The food and drinks are great and not over priced. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was family friendly. It was the perfect place for us to watch the game on Sunday afternoon. We are headed back again this week for seconds.

Fantastic review because this was a fantastic experience. John and Lynn were on top of us with hellos, offers to get us bevvys, menus in hand and quick to bring our food. A fun and easy to read menu. Good prices for the familiar pub faves: burgers, sandwiches, snacks and mains. Our bill was less than $30. We were impressed with the easy way they conversed with us, checking in to make sure we were happy. John offered 3 small samples of beer. Cool! I ended up getting a glass of cold peanut butter beer, along with my magically refilled glass of soda water. My hubby got the chicken quesadilla and I got the bean (vegetarian) burger with onion fries. Yummy! Best bean burger I've had, and the onion fries had a fun bite to them. Lynn popped in to immediately take away our plates and ask how everyone was/how food was. There was a good, Sunday afternoon vibe, a half full house both inside the resto and out on the patio, all watching the different football games. Lots of TV's and a giant screen the size of a wall. I'm a hockey fan so this would definitely be a place I'd come back to and watch some Stanley Cup action. I can see how parking could be a challenge. I'd also recommend the restroom (the lady's anyways) get a thorough once-over to take care of corner grime, finger prints and overall cleanliness. According to my hubby and I, absolutely recommend a visit to this resto/pub!

This place is ok. Cool bar with great beer, but the managers are idiots. During a big game, they had two waitresses on staff. Really. Food was below average, but it's a bar called black sheep so it can be expected. Even though it's new, the interior has the feel of an out of date strip club. Outside, there is a pool table right next to the door- another fail on the managers part. Won't be surprised when this place fails too

Went to Black Sheep last night to try some place new. We were very happy with our decision. We sat inside, but the outside bar looked really nice and if the weather would have been better we would have stayed outside. The inside is a decent size with a nice long bar. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. The happy hour prices are outstanding $2 domestic bottles is a great deal along with some half priced apps. I ordered a dozen wings with some skepticism. When they came out I was very happy with the size of the wings. They were served hot with plenty of sauce, which is how I like it. The beers were cold and the food was hot. Service was great. Our server checked on us regularly and our glasses of water were never empty. Give this place a try for great bar food with a good atmosphere and service. We will return to try the burgers.

Great food and service. Felt like a hometown bar and grill. It was great meeting someone from my home place of Iowa there as well.

The bartenders were slow and and not very experienced. They were not sure how to make a drink and short poured them. Could only make one at a time and seem to be socially awkward at times. They could use someone with experience to take charge of the bar. I will say the food and atmosphere is great!

My husband and I came here for the first time this past Sunday after a long day at the beach. Typical bar and grill type atmosphere but it was a nice laid back space with inside and outside sitting. We sat outside where there were options for shade too. We tried several items that were all really good. Basic bar food but also had some unique items too! The best part was the service, John was our server and he was awesome. He was working his butt off but still managed to make recommendations for food/drinks and have a sense if humor. We tried a bunch of his new concotions for drinks and they were awesome. Went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience and that is what will keep people coming back!

weak draft choices despite 20 plus taps...friendly but inattentive and quasi incompetent service. food...average is kind.....and I came here on recommendation of a friend. wish I could remember who :).....they do have a good number of TV's in and out for sports however..... in short, great spot for the younger and indiscriminant mt. p set

The set up was awesome, I would definitely watch games there and drink beer, good selection. The wine was good also. However the fried oysters were awful, and really, how do u mess up a fried oyster in charleston? Rest of the food was so/so, could be a great spot, but have to get better food

The bar was actually awesome, but the bartenders manage to delete 4 stars from this review. The bartenders were very angry people, especially the one with the longer beard. He seems to not only hate his job, but also everyone in the bar. In the one night i was there he managed to have every patron in attendance really dissatisfied with his service and his horrible attitude. The band was awesome, the customers were cool, the only downfall was the really angry bartender. They also managed to change the channel from the slam dunk contest which happens once a year, to skiing. When it was brought up if they could change it back the angry bartender said he was too busy to change the channel. It was like it was his goal to upset everyone. I also witnessed him calling last call, once people approached to order drinks at last call, he then said he already called it and he wanted people to leave. I don't think he understands what last call is.
